OUTLOOK: The Bond Market in India with the liberalization has been transformed completely. The bond market has immense potential in raising funds to support the infrastructural development undertaken by the government and expansion plans of the companies. In a bid to boost investment in the infrastructure sector, in March 2011 the Reserve Bank of India has raised the limit of FII investment in listed non-convertible debentures and bonds issued by core segment companies by $20 billion.
